Alina Anufrienko

Alina Anufrienko (no pronouns) is a composer, sound designer, cellist and performer and founder of the Documentary Music Lab. Born in 1985 in Omsk, Siberia, Alina left Russia in 2022 after the outbreak of the war of aggression against Ukraine and the increasing repression against the LGBTQ+ community, and continues to work in exile as a performance composer and performer. Projects with Alina's participation have been presented at the Haus der Berliner Festspiele, the Werkstatt Exilmuseum Berlin, the Cité internationale des arts in Paris, KW Institute for Contemporary Art Berlin, Schauspielhaus Stuttgart, HAU - Hebbel am Ufer Berlin and MUDAM Luxembourg, among others. Alina works in various collaborations as a composer, cellist and performer.
