Lukasz
Dr. Lukasz Olejnik, LL.M., is an independent researcher and consultant specializing in cybersecurity, privacy, and data protection. He is a Visiting Senior Research Fellow at the Department of War Studies, King’s College London.
He holds a PhD in Computer Science from INRIA (France) and an LL.M. from the University of Edinburgh. His academic affiliations have included University College London, Princeton’s Center for Information Technology Policy, and Oxford’s Centre for Technology and Global Affairs. He served as a member of the W3C Technical Architecture Group.
Previously, he was a cyberwarfare advisor at the International Committee of the Red Cross in Geneva, focusing on the humanitarian consequences of cyber operations. He is the author of Philosophy of Cybersecurity and Propaganda books, and of numerous scientific publications, op-eds, and policy analyses.
Dr. Olejnik works with public and private organizations on cybersecurity, data protection, R&D, and emerging technology policy.
