ChattyChatty with REINCANTAMENTO welcomes Alessandro Y. Longo, researcher and founder of the Berlin-based collective, to explore together with HackThePromise the current frontier of AI companionship.
Alessandro will guide us into these new zones of intimacy, where chatbots are boyfriend material and role-playing with conversational assistants is the new fun. Moving beyond both moral panic and corporate sloptimism, Alessandro adopts their framework of re-enchantment to imagine AI companions otherwise, engaging in the act of dramatizing new synthetic subjects.
