Romain Tièche

Romain Tièche

Romain Tièche’s work unfolds around three core dimensions: political, social, and aesthetic. Through a critical approach, he explores the complex relationship between the organic world and the technological sphere, examining the tensions, contemporary stakes, and narratives that emerge from this interplay. His artistic practice lies at the intersection of reality and fiction, questioning possible forms of expression and the role of aesthetics in a world in transformation. His work takes shape through installations, videos, visuals, and performances, combining body, space, sound, and material.

In recent years, he has presented his work in
exhibition spaces such as the Silencio in Paris, the Espace
Gantner in France and in Switzerland at Kunsthaus Baselland, the Kunsthalle Basel, the Tinguely Museum and the Haus für elektronische Künste (HeK) in Basel.
