A search for the self and one’s own hybrid identity in a world that is increasingly permeated by technology.
The video installation Digital Extensions, Me & Myself sheds light on the search for the self and one’s own hybrid identity in a world that is increasingly permeated by technology. At the centre is the inner conflict of an individual in a world dominated by technology. The installation reflects a spectrum of human emotions – from curiosity and euphoria to uncertainty and deep emotional conflict. For the video installation, the artist collaborated with the French Krump dancer Germain Zambi, who expresses the various emotional states.
